Well Veterans Day was last week and yet again probably my least favorite day of the month of November. Those who know me say thank you, but in all honesty I didn’t do anything to deserve anyones appreciation. I went to basic training and tech school to become a F16 engine mechanic “Areo Space Propulsion tech”. The reality of it though is although I was top of my class and earned a few rewards I quickly realized it wasn’t my cup of tea. I did my job and I did it to the best of my ability my abilities, unfortunately 2.5 years in my mother in law passed away along with myself having some health issues. I received a honorable discharge, but I didn’t travel the world I was never on the front line like many other veterans that deserve the upmost respect, but for me I honestly get uncomfortable when people give me their thanks.
