One of the biggest topics we’ve been studying recently is grid systems and layout structure. Before taking design classes, I never realized how much invisible structure goes into professional work. Now I notice grids everywhere: websites, magazines, advertisements, posters, and even social media content.
At first, grids felt restrictive to me creatively, but I’m starting to understand they actually create freedom. When your layout has structure, your ideas become clearer and more intentional. It helps guide the viewer’s eye naturally through a design.
