Even though I’m studying media design, photography still influences almost everything I create visually. Photography taught me how to notice lighting, composition, contrast, emotion, and storytelling long before I fully understood graphic design. A lot of my design work ends up feeling cinematic because of that background. I naturally gravitate toward dramatic contrast, shadows, motion, and emotional imagery. Photography also taught me patience. Sometimes the best image happens after waiting for the right light or angle. Design feels similar in a lot of ways, sometimes projects don’t come together instantly, you have to keep refining them until everything clicks visually.
