The weekends are the longest part of the week for me. My wife works, and between the two of us a blended family of 6 kids, and when you have homework and no one else to help with breakfast, lunch, dinner, let alone nap time for the youngest can be insane. It’s like a never-ending revolving door of hey Dad, can I have a snack, they’re fighting, someone’s crying, can we play our electronics, or can we go outside when it’s only 18 degrees out. Although reading this, it sounds really bad, but in all actuality, it’s really not bad at all. You learn to multitask, and you learn to be a superhero while getting your work done. Being a parent has been the best thing to happen to me in my entire life, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
