The Creative Burnout Nobody Talks About

Creative burnout is real, especially when you’re balancing multiple responsibilities at once. Some weeks I feel extremely motivated and full of ideas, while other weeks it feels difficult even to open Illustrator or Photoshop. I’ve learned recently that creativity isn’t something you can force nonstop. Sometimes stepping away for a little while actually helps more than staring at the screen, frustrated. One thing that helps me reset creatively is photography. Even taking a camera out casually reminds me why I started creating in the first place. I think many designers struggle with burnout privately because creative work is deeply personal. When something doesn’t turn out the way you imagined, it can feel frustrating fast.
